Opposite. I’m eager to see a new system in place and see if it produces. I find risk exciting.
It’s not truly a new system while we have Oli and his awful coaches.

I’d be a lot more excited if we’d replace them.
That would have been a true re-build.

That could be in The Cards.

Last offseason was demoralizing when they stubbornly refused to trade Fedde and Helsley for what could have been decent returns. This team will struggle mightily with Ws and Ls but at least they appear pointed in the right direction.

I would have zero interest in the big league team without the changes. But i still would have watched all the games.

Pointed yes, but how fast are we climbing that hill?

A vector has both direction and magnitude.

Depends on which hill you want them to climb….

I was much less excited about last season. Still need to look into how to actually watch games this season.

Always excited for Cardinals Baseball! However, this team is the same minor league team(s) I have been closely following the last few years. Basically Springfield/Memphis. No stars. Though JJ will be by mid-summer!

Not me I’m more excited than I have been in years the team finally has a direction they are finally fixing the development system so maybe prospects won’t be woefully unprepared to play in the majors they have a lot of good young prospects coming no more signing mediocrity to try and sustain mediocrity

Surely the not interested crowd will boycott the stadium and all t v games..??

My guess is that we will see many comments this summer from the fibs who claim to not be interested

False outrage…

Seeing the implementation of the new strategies will be very interesting…
New strategies??
Just win baby is the only strategy in Pro Sports. And this org is clueless when it comes to that
I guess those 11 championships were aberrations...

Been a fan for 64 years - love baseball, love the Cards. Its a bummer that they don't have 63 championships but I certainly have been entertained over the years!

I've been a fan for (gasp!) 70 years and have seen a many high-highs and low-lows. Through it all, I can't not watch and this year, to at last be moving on from Mo and rebuilding has my attention and appreciation. Hope Blooms eternal. Hopefully the start of a return to better days.

Last year was far worse for me. It was basically the same mediocre team coming back with no clear direction. This team has more youth, and hopefully some of our previous top prospects can finally figure it out. Wishful thinking, I know, but I’m an optimist.

I agree 100%! Great explanation of why I agree is in your post above. Can't remember when I looked forward to a season as much as this one, tbh.

Yes, sadly. It looks to me like that want to lose on purpose. Why? I guess they have their reasons but I feel it's a slap in the face to the fans.

Q: if you have no hope and/or little interest in this team, why the continual mental masturbation here?
