A better question is who is most likely to be offered an extension

1) JJ
2) Herrera
3) Burleson will never be extended

Any stat predictions for these three? Particularly, BA, HR, RBIs and OPS. I'll focus on Burleson. BA: .282, HR: 24, RBIs: 84, OPS: .824.

In order w/best case OPS guess:

-Ivan/.875 OPS
-JJW/.820 OPS
-Bumbles/.810 OPS

If those OPSs hold up and Gorman and Walker show some progress. The Cardinals could win more games than last season with slightly better starting pitching.

Add in more offense than they got in 2025 from Winn & Noot as well.

I also think the SR will be better than the 2025 rotation that featured three of the worse starters (Mikols-Fedde-Pallante) in MLB.

I've been saying all winter, 2026 Team > 2025 Team.
