The backfields are free.
My family and I have been to 24 Spring Trainings in St. Pete and then Jupiter and we love it.
The intersquad games on those backfields - primarily with the young guys - are the most fun part of the experience.
My favorite (of course) was watching Pujols dominate (and Bonilla get hurt) in his first spring training. We watched him play shortstop in part of one game.
If you know what do you pay for a decent hotel room in the area and how bad is traffic? Kind of on my bucket list. I would go for the experience and not the quality of the rosters for any given game.
right now the condo's and small house weekly rentals are the way to go --- all the Canadian snowbirds stayed home this year so there are some awesome deals to be had. thru airbnb and vrbo you can get some great deals for 2/3 br and 2 ba with a kitchen and some space to move in and you will pay less than some of the hotels.

Thanks

Two years ago we were in West Palm on a day they were hosting the Cards…

The Stros provide some cages for the visitors to hit ….we were able to see Goldschmidt, and others hit…close enough to hear his conversation with a coach…..pretty cool stuff

You’re right….what goes on away from the main park is really interesting
