Why wouldn’t it be a sellout. Dewitt announced an increase in stadium experience. Don’t you want your flavored turkey legs? What about new games to play on the scoreboard?

I don't think people go to opening day, because they are sure that their team is going to win. I think people go to opening day to hear "Here comes the king" or whatever the Budweiser song title is, to watch the retired Cardinal greats, to celebrate the tradition of the beginning of the days of summer. I get chills on opening day. If you are too bitter to have fun on opening day, I feel sorry for you.Cardinals4Life wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 12:22 pmOpening Day in STL is a tradition in baseball and a true experience, rivaled by few. I’ve been a Cards fan for sixty years. I’ve seen them win nine pennants and four World Series. I’m a fan. I criticize the owner, or the front office, or the manager or the players, when they deserve it, and I support them always. Im not a sucker.45s wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 14:50 pmWell, you have a good point.Cardinals4Life wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 12:22 pmOpening Day in STL is a tradition in baseball and a true experience, rivaled by few. I don’t understand people who constantly complain about a product, and then continue to buy it.
I guess it’s true……a sucker is born every day..

It won’t be below 2 million. Only people crying are needy CT posters with no life. Everybody I know can’t wait for baseball to start.Midrange Jay wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 14:41 pm Attendance on the year will be below 2 million, but opening day will sell out.
Being a fan, and supporting the team is not exclusively about buying tickets, and certainly not about always agreeing with the way the team is run. It is unsurprising that your focus is only about the financial aspect.45s wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 19:59 pm“Support”?BrockFloodMaris wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 15:27 pmI’ve been a Cards fan for sixty years. Do you spend money supporting them?
that's because the financial aspect is the only thing that business people understand or care about...12xu wrote: ↑12 Feb 2026 08:58 amBeing a fan, and supporting the team is not exclusively about buying tickets, and certainly not about always agreeing with the way the team is run.
