Maybe Vegas will give him a big rock in the desert where he and the fam can go have a picnic.

They can take a couple of trips there from the Lou every year and celebrate.

They do. Thats what you focused on? Yikes
How do they? They said Army gave other players what Petro was looking for. He was looking for a NMC. Big difference. I’m glad they’re not handed out. That’s what’s handcuffed the leafs.
What's insane about this is you fully know Petro dwarfed Krug in talent and then Krug, who got most of Petro's money, went and did exactly this. Refused a trade that only needed his approval so that the team you root for could get better, but the little waterskiier selfishly wanted his money. And Petro is the villain. It's just ... it's like a lot of things these days.
Hey you…I feel you being jaded on the state of the World/humanity these days.

We will hug it out one day. I’m gonna make you make me a Dutch oven convert.
I would be willing to wager that Seattle has zero interest in hugging you. Save that fantasy with your others about Petro. BTW, do you still want to "drain him"?

As for MAKING seattle cook for you, he would more likely cook YOU and feed you to his dog.

Hey you…I feel you being jaded on the state of the World/humanity these days.

1. If your thread here gets too intense with the others around this subject then people are going to start getting (upset) and taking it out on me because I agree with you. I'm not super in the mood for that (we lost an animal we had for over 10 years in the last few days) so just stating for the record that you and I are different people. We occupy different spheres on the board. Pretty much every knows this.

2. It feels like the people who have been around a long time preponderantly agree with you about Petro, so any heat on the discussion lands a different way when it's there. But that's just feedback. I am not telling anyone how to argue or not.

3. If I listed everything I have made in a dutch oven in the last year you'd be drooling with hunger. You should do a weekly soup, which go in dutch ovens. it's her turn this week and she just picked Caribbean red bean. You pick out a soup on a slip of paper out of a tin on Thursday, get the needed items in advance and make it Sunday. I have a little extra buttermilk from the blueberry grunt I made yesterday so I will make fresh buttermilk biscuits to go along with this soup. This rec goes for everyone except the people who are going to do the dreary #1 above.

I’m really sorry to hear about the loss man. Those types of losses can be very hard. I love seeing people passionate about food. I am as well. Became that way after Asia. So much goes into it on thephysical/spiritual/psychological/emotional/social for many people.

And you don’t have agree with me…i know the truth. I don’t need validation. I know it’s hard for people to admit when they are wrong. I know what that implies for you/others. No hard feelings there.

Sorry again for the loss man…rough

thanks. not even the heaviest thing of the past week somehow.

that's the thing, if we disagreed about Petro people wouldn't say I am you. but I do agree with you about Petro and strongly was in alarm about it happening before it happened (what else in life sounds like that ... hmm, I wonder), and because I talk to you I countenance you and people have decided you are off limits so much that even people who countenance you are to be included in their feelings. just be mindful we all have to watch Buchnevich later it's a dark time in multiple ways.

He deserves both. We had a bedrock on the blueline for a decade and ever since, we have been piecemealing together replacements and the team is in terrible shape as a result. Everyone except some bizarre sect of Blues fans can see it.

It’s hard to look 5 years ahead based on numerous variables/potential outcomes. But I’m not feeling good things from a team perspective. There’s no quick ish fix for me.

And if that’s not your biggest loss, then take it easy, be kind to yourself and surround yourself with people you care about.

Better days ahead

Someone explain why Al MacInnis has one over him.

It would be criminal if there wasn’t one of him hoisting the cup. It was one of the best cup raises in nhl history
