The stuff about Tarasenko is legit. Karaker recently talked about it on his podcast. The entire team pretty much hated him. He also said that first year that Schenn was here he actually requested a trade because of his dislike of Tarasenko.
Tarasenko’s days as a Blue are long over and he’s likely never coming back for even a visit.

Not sure this is accurate as I seen Tarasenko many times out at dinner or bars and other Blues were with him. If they hated him doubt they would be out having dinner and playing darts together. Seen him and Schwartz together Tarasenkos kids together as well.

He was such a hard player to figure out. You never thought of him as fast. Yet, they guy could flat out skate when he wanted to. You never thought of him as a hard worker. You never thought he was scoring as much as he could. Yet the number would pop up and he was over the last few seasons second in scoring to Ovie.

His stepson was a goalie and played for the Rockets. One early Sunday morning my son's team played his son's team. I think my son was 11 or 12. Tarasenko would quietly come to games, hoodie covering his head. You wouldn't realize it was him until someone pointed it out. No one would bother him. Every realized that he wanted to watch his kid play. That morning my son scored a hat trick on his son. My son was so excited that he did that in front of Tarasenko.

And the next day Vladi demanded a trade so congrats to your son running him out of St Louis. Unbelievable

Schwartz was always the one guy in his corner. Likely because of being drafted together but it’s well known that guys like Backes, Oshie, Steen and eventually Schenn didn’t care for the guy.

That over the shoulder drop pass to the current captain in game seven was one of the prettiest I’ve seen. You could just tell that it was THAT goal that broke the B’s spirit.

Two of my all time favorite Blues players, Tarasenko and Unger. Both brought great excitement to the team and both were loved by the fans. A lot of my greatest Blues hockey memories were brought by these two guys.

Im one that thinks hockey becomes a everyday job for players way before they make the pros. And just like any job one will react to the attitudes of those around them and their bosses.

No different then Oshie back when or Kyrou now. Tarasenko was made play a game that wasn't geared at his game. With linemates not suited for his skill. But then was asked to produce like he was playing his game, while playing the grind.

Tarasenko wasn't done very good and we didn't get to see him reach the top of his potential he was sure to show us.

Also His best center was Barb's. But we had old guys on Contracts and barbs was drafted by us and young. So he was only ever gonna be a fourth liner. so he was called a fourth liner.
