Re: Interesting article about Thomas to Boston
He was not ever projected to be a third line center. That is a false statement

Either way, I think we would need to find another top-6 center if we deal Thomas (i.e., we can't rely on Dvo and Stenberg to fill those two positions long-term).

That team was 11th in the NHL in Goals Scored, he had ROR and Schenn in their primes in front of him.
This season Dalibor has been the #2 center at 20 yrs old on a lot of nights with wingers that can neither make plays or score goals. Roughly a dozen + times Dalibor has made a sweet pass to a winger that fumbled it, whiffed, shot into the goalies crest. Still

I can easily see DD surpassing RTs goals scored but probably not Points this season.
All in all i would give the slight edge to RT over DD at 20 yrs old although they are two totally different centers 58 Hits so far from DD, he has a great shot, big kid, great passer hes done more than i expected this season. At the start i wasnt sure hed even be ready this year he surprises me every night with some skill play he pulls off. So while his numbers are lower than RTs i expect over the next few years that DD is going to boom into a legit top 6 NHL center
Are you ok?
We cant expect someone to be a torch at that young of a age where every singie one of our players has been disappointing. Makes little sense
Broberg now leads all Blues skaters 22:56 ATOI, 59.7% Dzone starts and is still 2nd on the Blues+1 and 15 pts this season. Please #freePhilipBroberg let this guy play some offense vs constantly bailing out the team in dzone all night.
Re: Interesting article about Thomas to Boston
Do you watch hockey? Broberg looks like Parayko offensively. Plus you probably shoot harder than he doesHarry S Deals wrote: ↑23 Jan 2026 11:28 am Please #freePhilipBroberg let this guy play some offense vs constantly bailing out the team in dzone all night.

Re: Interesting article about Thomas to Boston
Thomas is experiencing his first down year. It's a bit of a reach to assume that he's on the trading block. I don't see a world where the Blues trade Thomas but keep Kyrou. Thomas would have to basically be voicing he wants out (he has never hinted at that) or the Blues would have to make out like bandits. I don't really see where this move can happen where it goes completely in the Blues favor. I do see the Blues as being someone who gets active with the Robo talks. Do the Blues and Dallas become trade partners here? I was floating the Blues would be willing to get fleeced and give up young guys and Kyrou to get Robo and risk him not signing here. Does Dallas Look for Thomas to upgrade their 2C situation and float trading for Robo? It would nearly be a 1 - 1 as Thomas contract is more valuable than the future contract of Robo. Blues would have to sweeten the pot as Robo is a bonified points per game guy.Harry S Deals wrote: ↑23 Jan 2026 11:16 am 32 Thoughts (Jan 23): On Robert Thomas, Elliotte says if the Blues were to move him you would have to make them an offer where they couldn't say no. "The other thing I've heard is they're looking for a stud top 6 forward that is slightly younger than Thomas." #stlblues #NHL
Idk how this is going to come together,
a) Blues will want a major return
b) Thomas has to agree
c) Cap needs to work out
Lots of online click bait chatter, thats about all that this is
All in all, I don't see how Thomas gets dealt when Kyrou is still here. And to the Dvorsky stuff. Dudes a no doubter middle 6 guy. You hope he can find himself in the top 6, but people calling him a 3rd liner at 20. He has crushed his peers every step of the way. He just needs to get older.

Why do you think Kyrou is currently a St.Louis Blue?callitwhatyouwant wrote: ↑23 Jan 2026 11:31 am I don't see a world where the Blues trade Thomas but keep Kyrou.

In fact, given the dzone starts only Fehervary and McCabe (17pts) have more offensive production than Broberg (guys with at least 30 GP)Harry S Deals wrote: ↑23 Jan 2026 11:28 amYep, eye popping stat of the dayHarry S Deals wrote: ↑23 Jan 2026 10:57 amLOL, 20 yr old center with 42 NHL games played "has 3rd line center written all him" LOL. So a guy playing 18 minutes has more offensive production than Broberg.Harry S Deals wrote: ↑23 Jan 2026 11:39 am In fact, given the dzone starts only Fehervary and McCabe (17pts) have more offensive production than Broberg (guys with at least 30 GP)
You should watch hockey and players play

Interesting, the 101 espn guys just did a segment that was almost verbatim my Robo for Thomas/Kyrou trade. I guess they are picking up the Blues Talk board for some material.

i swear i had heard them talk about a topic someone had brought up on here before and I was like "I just read that on Blues talk. There's no way they just thought that up, it was off the wall stuff."juan good eye wrote: ↑23 Jan 2026 14:06 pmNo surprise as those guys are common [fork] tards.callitwhatyouwant wrote: ↑23 Jan 2026 13:55 pm Interesting, the 101 espn guys just did a segment that was almost verbatim my Robo for Thomas/Kyrou trade. In this instance, I haven't seen anyone else post about the Robo/Thomas/Kyrou hypothetical on reddit or here. The national talking heads havent brought it up either. If they thought about it on their end. good on them. although just 3 days ago, 1 of them admitted their show prep was just looking at twitter. It was BK that said that. I actually like ferrario, seems like a normal dude. He clapped back at BK and said, "that's how you prep? public tweets?"
