The exact same problems with the same high paid vet players like Binnington, Faulk (yeah he’s scored a few), Buch, Kyrou, and Thomas.

Basically the same Holloway as last year with an injury added and a much better Broberg. But the addition of LM takes away the Broberg bump.

This team needs an established addition to their core.

So, what you're saying is...
If we work really hard and again do something that isn't done every year, or twenty. We can again play a couple of playoff games in the Lou.

Genius.
They'll never see us coming.

While Even Buffalo has long streaks, and we face TB with 11 in a row, and other competitions with 6 or more dining streaks, I am thinking we still have not won 3 in a row. Good luck on us getting 12 or more.

Zamadu- you need to re check your "facts"

Last year at the exact same time- 47games in to the season.
The Blues were EXACTLY:
22-21-4 for 48 points

GF- 133
GA-139

No where near what your numbers suggest. They ended up last year with a goal differential of + 19
So if they were - 40 something at the 47 game mark, that means they would have to finish at around + 65 in 35 games. That's about the same pace that the Avs are on right now and there is NO WAY that happened.
Your numbers sounded goofy to me when you posted them so I had to check for myself....Glad I did

Does it not get old trying to find a reason to say “what about 2019”

Where did you get those stats?

Google AI gave me the ones I used. That's why I quoted. If wrong, whoops. Sorry fellas.

I got the goalie stats from hockeyreference - those are correct through January.

They would lose 7 of 9 after this match, though

Thanks.

I just tried to edit my last response, but I guess I took too long, so I'll do it here.

My point in sharing was mainly that it was a crazy coincidence (or a stupid blunder  ), but I would also opine that there are similarities to last season. Mainly lack of consistency (might be going on several years now). Goalies. Multiple players having down years, with people on here wondering if they're disinterested and questioning their effort. Debate of whether or not to sell and tank while they torment us with sporadic great team victories. I would certainly not bet on a repeat of last season, and like many others, lean towards going for Ivar, Carels, etc. at the top of the draft.

Thank you for checking me and providing evidence. I reworded into google and it gave the same stats you guys shared.

Actually I went through a game by game recap from the first 47 games of last year. It was tedious but I was pretty sure that the goal differential was NOT that bad one year ago.
They ended up + 19 for the year.
This team is Not going to be anywhere near that this year. They have by far the worst +/- in the league. Pretty shocking AND embarrasing

Thanks for checking...I was pretty stunned to see that differential.

But as I am this year too.
