Yeah it's Stone, but I'm OK with the hit and Schenn takin' care of business.

The hit from Stone hit on Broberg was clean, but what is so embarrassing is Kerbs and Vitale stating Stone slew footed him show how unprofessionalism they are and why they are so horrible.

Stone definitely raised Brobergs feet a bit with his knee which contributed to Broberg toppling awkwardly 100%. I would consider that a dirty play if it wasn't Mark Stone doing perhaps it's overlooked but he has earned this

In my view the hit was late and it was boarding. Being late Broberg already had his guard down, so to speak. If the hit had been a simple hip bounce I wouldn't consider it boarding, just incidental contact. The viciousness of the hit and the "targeting" nature to me clearly makes it boarding. Refs IMHO missed it because that portion of the play was already over, puck had moved up ice.

That’s such a pathetic take. Hilarious

Lil Phil is gonna see a lot worse than that little clean powder hit.

After watching the video more I don't think it was a dirty hit or slew foot but given that it is Stone you could and probably should assume it was. Either way glad Schenner got after him. Schenner seems to have a new system where he gets the helmets off the opponent right away which is smart if you don't want to damage your hand.
It wasn’t a bad hit. At all.

The fact that Stone was forced to fight over that was embarassing. Maybe Broberg should use that 6’4 frame to defend against hits like that.
Thanks for the input, you can go home now. BTW, the damage was done by Slewfoot Stone.

He's learned and grown as a fighter in this league. Manages to diminish damage taken and has learned some tricks to help himself deal some pain or otherwise punish the opponent.
Yeah he got Tanev's off quick also.

Thanks for sharing, wasn't able to catch the game. Yeah the helmet's off before the camera focuses in, and Schenner's got him tied up where he wants him for some rights to land on skin.
He was whaling on him. Stone is lucky the linesmen stepped in. I would have liked another minute or so but Schenn looked pretty winded.
Was hoping he would bust that hook nose.

That is one ugly dude.

What team fan likes seeing their player tripped and injured?

It was a clean hit, body to body, how you'd teach it

Until Stone used his left leg/knee to sweep out whatever chance Broberg had from being able to prepare himself for hitting the ice. It was absolutely a dirty slew foot play that was completely unnecessary and directly led to the injury.

There's a difference between hard hitting hockey and dirty. Stone had a chance to staple Broberg to the boards and he took it, no problem with it. Keep your legs on the ice and don't slew foot the guy and this isn't a discussion.

This. It was a dirty play. Stone knew he had his leg and then "finished" his check by driving broberg down and not to the side. It was a takedown move to the ice and not a check into the boards.
