But it's becoming apparent they're going to give Gorman (and Walker) F-T positions in this "re-build" season.
Trust me, their defense is pathetic and their hitting not much better.
But as I've said for some time now, these two are on Mo's resume and C. Bloom has no equity stake in either.
He can cut the cord, maybe as early as mid season, and dump one or both on any taker w/o any blowback.

We got in too deep. The old template isn’t bold enough to save us. Given the telegraphed state of the 2026 season (re: BDWJr will spend little to no money other than off the books contracts Bloom can deal), this is what we're going to see this coming season.
Not what any of us want (rebuild) but given the state of the organization it's the only real path to take.
