Re: Kyrou Duck Scenario
First things first, get Kyrou back and up to speed. There are guys here who can chip away at his situational ice time.

Kyrou doesn’t have a modified NTC so what are you talking about? You think the team is going to go out of their way to trade him?ManitobaBlues wrote: ↑20 Dec 2025 19:12 pmBesides that no one said they do not like Kyrou, what is there not to like with him. We are just saying lets save 8 mill and use it too keep our newer prospects. I do not care what we get for Kyrou as we are not going to a win a cup anytime soon with him or without him.netboy65 wrote: ↑20 Dec 2025 19:03 pmLike who has done that? Just gedause Blues Talk doesn’t like him doesn’t mean the team is willing to give him away.
Circumventing an NTC with Waivers
Barclay Goodrow (2024): The Rangers placed him on waivers to move him to the San Jose Sharks because his 15-team no-trade list included San Jose. This isn’t a direct trade of an NTC to a non-list team, but it results in the player ending up somewhere he didn’t formally approve via trade, showing another practical workaround

Re: Kyrou Duck Scenario
Who wants a player that takes Christmas' off?
Re: Kyrou Duck Scenario
Kyrou is from Toronto, which is very close to Buffalo. So I wouldn't completely rule out Kyrou possibly waiving to go there, and Sabres aren't that far from being a playoff team.......just sayinsneptsmoustache wrote: ↑20 Dec 2025 10:09 amInteresting. Honestly, I don't see Kyrou waiving his no-trade to go to any of those teams. He's not going to Buffalo. Perhaps Columbus, but Seattle seems like a stretch. And then there's the whole "New Jersey is in a large market and is close to NYC" thing that could appeal to him, but man it's disgusting over there in that part of NJ, and driving to the rink every day would suck.TheHighHat wrote: ↑20 Dec 2025 09:19 am
New Jersey, Seattle, Columbus, & Buffalo need top 6 winger help.
Re: Kyrou Duck Scenario
Last year Jordan Kyrou was a 70 point player. Barclay Goodrow was a 76 point player, if you add the 3 full seasons before he got waived together. Jordan Kyrou is NOT getting put on waiversManitobaBlues wrote: ↑20 Dec 2025 19:12 pmBesides that no one said they do not like Kyrou, what is there not to like with him.
