Re: Holloway helped off the ice at practice
Are injuries on the rise league wide, or just bad luck for the Blues?

Re: Holloway helped off the ice at practice
I’m sure playing themselves into a hole from late October into November likely heightened the chances of injury, by intensifying the importance of early season games due to raised stakes and the messaging coming from Management.
However, I’m not so sure we can blame a losing streak on

Toropchenko will return to play Monday against the Predators after missing seven games, but if Holloway is to miss time, he will join Jimmy Snuggerud (wrist), Jordan Kyrou (lower body), Nathan Walker (upper body) and Nick Bjugstad (upper body) shelved by injuries.

That's three guys out of the top-6.hotrivets wrote: ↑14 Dec 2025 15:15 pm Toropchenko will return to play Monday against the Predators after missing seven games, but if Holloway is to miss time, he will join Jimmy Snuggerud (wrist), Jordan Kyrou (lower body), Nathan Walker (upper body) and Nick Bjugstad (upper body) shelved by injuries.
It's a real shame for the player and the team if Holloway is even hobbled. He was just starting to show flashes of his pre-injury form.

Re: Holloway helped off the ice at practice
This leads me to a stupid question, because I haven’t played in 20 years where do you get skates sharpened these days? I Used to go to Johnny Mac’s, Fletchers, Fischers, and the last place I think was the Hockey Loft. None of them are around any more.blackinkbiz wrote: ↑14 Dec 2025 14:11 pmHeading to Johnny Mac's to get the old CCM's sharpened up. They're gonna need me any day now.
