This team will be so stripped down it will look up just to see bottom. Will it be only 100 loses? or will it go well beyond that? Of course, some of you are paid to come on here and tell us how great this is. For the rest of us, we are not convinced! Will it e any better than Oakland, Pittsburg, Royals, Marlins et al who surge or almost surge to relevance then purge the roster of all good players. Rinse...repeat...
Feel free to sell the team any time, Billy!
Hopefully your streamlined payroll and draft pick model turns out well. Hope you catch relevance again in your lifetime. We understand the idea. Most of us are from Missouri and have to see it to believe it.
Thanks for the good years! They were great! Our granddads, fathers, uncles, brothers and sons all enjoyed them. Now they are fading memories, stories told to skeptical kids who for their generation find zero joy in launch angles, endless strikeouts and otherwise boring baseball. What will our generations look like if we really do officially unhook from the Cards now?
Cards to tank next few seasons for better draft picks. Sell?

On record as saying I think the 2026 team will win a 6-7 more games than the 2025 version.
Unless we see even more trades midseason, I think they could surprise some people.
(And I make this based on WillyC being here)

People will call it whatever they choose to call it. I just want them not to make any expensive long term commitments for this offseason and probably even next until they are really ready to be competitive again.
If that means losing 9x or 10x games for a couple of years so be it. If they happen to win 8x games, even better.
