These hirings went unnoticed as they were announced yesterday on Sonny Gray trade day .

Note: in the article you will find a chart with all the positions and promotions spelled out

In addition to the 10 new hirings, others already there were given promotions including former Cardinal player Ryan Ludwick who is now has title of Minor League Outfield Coordinator.

Bloom has sure expanded the minor league development and performance areas big time. Good to see that ownership is giving him the support.
Sure that is why he accepted the position. Go Chaim Bloom ! Keep building !
Is anyone getting fired or is Bloom just adding more headcount?
The Cardinals were understaffed compared to other teams in player development. It led to the Cardinals player development falling behind MLB standards. These for the most part are new positions to more align with other organizations trends.
It’s weird because you pretty much never seen an organization that wants to radically change course pull that off without firing anybody. There’s always some people who arent the right ones to implement the new doctrine.

Until that happens is the rebuild going to be held back by a mix of old ideas?

It's good to see Luddy get a bump up. He played pretty solid outfield defense.
