Most teams take yearly stabs at guys like this hoping to catch a break.
Actually....while struggling to fill other needs recently the Cards have had decent success adding BP arms.
Yes, agree !

This is the guy you sign to pitch in the game after an extra innings game, or after a game where your entire pitching staff dropped the ball. Gotta get those disposable innings somewhere, and it's best not to call up a real prospect for that job.

This guy is basically taking the job that Ryan Tepera/Roddery Munoz/James Naile did. If that.

Given BDWJr is in payroll slashing mode C. Bloom has no option other than to throw as many darts as he can at the board and hope a couple hit the target.
agree and of the couple that hit the target , he is keeping his fingers crossed that maybe one of those two hit the bullseye. He would look like a genius . People forget the darts that miss completely if you nail one of them !
Bingo

Maybe he finds another R. Ludwick or K. Bottenfield!

There are lots of innings to cover in both STL and MEM. NRIs are a part of every team, every year.
Absolutely

High risk but high rewards if you find a keeper!
