BB is not a good defender. Shortstop isn’t position you skimp on defense.

Winn is the guy I have been waiting for the Cardinals to find to play shortstop. There are those who would trade him just to be making a trade, or in the case of certain guys that hate Winn for some reason. Love the guy and his rocket throws to first.

No you’re none of those things you aren’t a front office homer unless a majority of cards talk dislike them I have little doubt that since a majority of cards talk like bloom taking over you will dislike him and talk trash about him every chance you get and I do got you

I don’t hate him I’m glad he’s taking over I just don’t think he’s dumb enough to trade a gold glove caliber short stop and install a lesser defensive shortstop who a lot of scouts think will be a second baseman or third baseman long term. I think he would be smart enough to want to build around a strong defensive up the middle which would be Winn at short and JJ at second
