Most high strikeout pitchers end up in the bullpen because they also walk a lot of batters and their pitch count gets too high to be a starting pitcher.

That’s my concern. Is he just going to turn the Cardinals into a farm team for the big boys?

Look at Baltimore. They hoarded all the young prospect talent in the world and were last place this year.

You have a suppliment with the right proven vets and you have to spend aggressively in the right places to get them.

If Liam Doyle is the ultimate prize it sure took a lot of losing and way too much patience to replace Ryan Helsley.
