Blues definitely played a better game against a terrible canucks team minus hughes and another blues killer garland. I dont believe anyone really thinks lucic is going to change anything statistically. It would just be nice to see some emotion from someone who knows what its like to lose the ability to play and wants it back. Should be a wake up call for anyone taking the NHL and STL for granted. I would like a team that shows they love hockey more than they say they do.

Even this year if you count Dvorsky into the lineup, lets say he sticks it out in 4 weeks (I don't think neighbours is coming back for a long while since they said "reevaluate") when Neighbours is clear. Who are they going to trim? Well you just cut 5-8 years off your roster. What did that do for the Blues? Moved them from 20 to 22 currently. If it happened again when neighbours is back, they would drop as far as to 26th. The Blues are a very youthful team. Also, not sure where you got your stats from, using eliteprospects which is factoring in your healthy roster age. currently oldest 3 who truly are old cause its average age over 29 are kings jets panthers. The babies are Buffalo and Montreal who are under 26. Your source might be better. It's also important to factor in experience. It usually directly correlates with age, but it's not exact, those top 3 get reshuffled. Blues stay at 22. Sabres and Canadiens switch spots.
