He looked like he belonged. Maybe he can help weather the storm. If he can stick for a while he could bring some offensive punch to the 3rd line when Thomas and Neighbours come back.

I was pleased with what I saw from him. Didn’t hesitate to just let it rip a couple times. That will pay off for him in time.

He played a very disciplined defensive game, was good in transition, 9 of 13 on faceoffs, and his shot was a real threat.

Dvorsky and Snuggerud played key minutes too at later stages in the game. They were very impressive with their instincts and drive. I hope this is the start of something big for the long run. One game, but it's about time we had a mini youth movement ala Oshie and Perron

I am glad you brought that up... if he can keep it up in the dot he will be the best face off guy we have since ROR... Great point

Dvorsky's pme timer could be game change. We just dont have that on the blues. Loved Snuggys grip it and rip wrist shot. we got a face off guy with a one timer and a powerful skater with a rifle of a shot in snuggy fresh

I was at the game last night. Front row upper circle, so full view of ice. I have not seen the final stats, so I do not know if he actually had our highest FO wins percentage? But he was winning face-offs all night. Quick reflexes. And those he did not clearly win, were such that the Canucks could not necessarily do anything special with the next pass or play, giving our players time to react and position. He also got a good amount of playing time and starts in various important situations, had some nice shots on net, hit a post, and put himself in a position twice where if a (should have been) pass from the other Blues player, he likely could have scored. (I'm not criticizing the other Blues in those situations...the game looks slower and more clear from up high.) Overall, his positioning, anticipation, calm and execution was fine. Importantly, I believe that he is intelligent.
He should stay up here and play Center. He likely is better than any of our other Centers besides Thomas and Suter right now. Will there be stumbles, yes. Will he possibly get the occasional game off to watch from above, maybe, but I don't think so based upon what I saw...he can study game film to accomplish the same in my mind.

It's certainly not talent but the concern for the coaching staff is consistent play within the structure.

Undoubtedly that will vary with a young player.

I was gonna say the same, whats that say about the canucks lol

we are down arguably our two best forwards and they needed Schenn to screw up in order to win in a shootout

True but the Nucks have major injuiries and they lost Boeser at the start of the game and played a man short the whole game. I think that's what he meant by a man down. No Quin Hughes and no Conner Garland who currently leads the team in points I think. The Blues didn't have to face Demko who is a better goalie than Lankinen. I want to be optimistic too but it's pretty hard.

I thought he looked great out there and man what a bright star he could be for this team right now. Get Schenn on wing a big bonus for the team.

One game.....but he did himself proud and you can't ask for more from the young man.

Also, Jimmy was indeed jumping and it appears both of these players will not hesitate to shoot the puck. I'd like him in the slot all day every day on the pp.

Some people need hand holding to understand what the majority gets.
