Missing 18 and 63 could serve as sort of a wake up call to the other forwards.

Hopefully

To be fair he pointed out the same thing I did when the trade was announced - they traded a proven NHL asset for somebody that may or may not have a NHL career.

“Defense, I think it takes up to 300 games for a player to really develop and really understand their identity and understand the mistakes that they make night in and night out and be able to correct (them). That takes time and understanding.”

This doesn't help...

So, we have to wait almost 4 seasons to see if he can be a plus defenseman or not. ::crazya::

Everybody calm down and wait until 2030.

MUCH better for Hofer to get the start on the road- just in case. He won't get booed unless he kneecaps one of the Pens. 8O

This is the kind of game where the rest of the peeps in that locker room will decide to show up. We’ve seen this from this group many times. If they lose tonight than I expect Schenner to drop the gloves early tomorrow night.

If Kyrou isn’t playing over 20 minutes tonight … that will be funny

If kyrou doesnt get 20 mins without thomas or neighbours then it will say a lot about what monty and army thinks of him.

Penguins Projected Lineup:

Filip Hallander-Sidney Crosby-Bryan Rust
Anthony Mantha-Evgeni Malkin-Justin Brazeau
Tommy Novak-Ben Kindel-Ville Koivunen
Connor Dewar-Blake Lizotte-Noel Acciari

Parker Wotherspoon-Erik Karlsson
Ryan Shea-Kris Letang
Mathew dumb[ash]-Harrison Brunicke

Tristan Jarry will start in goal; Arturs Silovs will be the backup.

Healthy scratches include Philip Tomasino and Connor Clifton. Rickard Rakell (hand), Kevin Hayes (upper body) and Caleb Jones (lower body) are out.

No Kevin Hayes for the Pens? So you're saying there's a chance...

Well he was getting 15 mins most nights in the playoffs so I already know.

But when you’re trying to move/sell a big contract and act like this in the regular season … it’s funny to me

This lineup has powder keg written all over it.

Hofer in goal.
Mailloux in, paired with Tucker.

I'm very curious to see what amount a drop-off we see from Thomas to Suter.

That is one shi**y lineup; if they can't beat that, they have big problems (even without Thomas & Neighbours)

Would you rather play him in an upcoming home game?
I’d rather not play him at all until he gets his [shirt] together. Like a few weeks from now.

Exactly. Hopefully this team rally’s together to play a solid effort.

Whoever is unfortunate enough to line up against him. Schenner has a job to do
