We know Kessel's upside....there isn't any, this is who he is, so Mailloux needs to play. Blues aren't a good team, barring another 12 game winning streak they'll probably pick Top 10 and miss the playoffs, so makes no sense not playing him.

Kessel looked pretty good to me, will we feel the same if perhaps Kessel makes it another team and gets a shot and becomes a viable RHD?

Kessel has 72 career games and Mailloux has 12 and we're concerned about what if Kessel just needs more opportunity?

Why not forfeit the first 20 games of the season then? Blues can take 2 months off and start play at the Thanksgiving break. These early games don't matter.

He's not going to be that player here, so even if he goes off and becomes a stud Dman, its not happening here so time to move on to Mailloux and see what he's got, plus the fact we paid ALOT for Mailloux to see what he's got.
