With the crushing defeat in the NLCS will the media predict the Brewers to fall back in the pack ? Will they go with the Cubs ? WIll they pick the Reds to win the title ?
Who will take the crown in 2026? A few years ago when the Brewers traded Josh Hader , the Brewers were predicted to silde backwards .. then again the year they lost ace Corbin Burns , the Brew Crew kept playing well. Then they traded NL top closer Devin WIlliams away and lost SS Willy Adames .. once again somehow they still seem to overcome that too.
Will those Brewers find some way to win again in 2026 OR will someone beat them out next year ? The Brewers have become the sore spot in the NL Central . Frustrate a lot of NL Central fans how they stay at the top of the Central so consistently .

Since I know I’ll be locked in to the Cards for 2026 I just try not to overthink it and enjoy the season.
Hopefully:
Bloom makes his mark building the farm system?
We get to see the likes of JJ make their case to becoming long term core players.
Looks like they have some budding talent at Catcher.
Need an OF or two to step up!
Same with pitching as hopefully Mathews, Henderson, Hence, Doyle etc continue to grow.
The revenue side of baseball is what it is. I’d be nice if MLB woke up and realized they are steadily losing ground to the NFL and even the NBA.

We played well against some of the better teams in 2025 -
Phillies 4-2
Dodgers 4-2
Guardians 3-0
Brewers 6-7
Twins 3-0

Until teams make any roster changes it's the Brewers, the Brewers, the Brewers.

Cubs
The Cubs got good just long enough for Jed Hoyer to get a contract extension. Neither their big league roster, nor their farm system will be as good next year as this year. I hope they enjoyed their moment.
