Best team money can buy (350 million).
This. If they don't win the next 5 world series, it will be a bust. That's the pathetic state of the MLB currently.
Hilarious.
Hilarious, sad, pathetic, atrocious...there are many adjectives to describe the broken MLB system that highly benefits large market teams. Far more than any other major sport.
Entertaining is another.
Dodgers/Brewers would set up David vs. Goliath in payroll terms.
Brewers are milking the manager’s mantra..we are a bunch of Average Joes.
Brewer fans are using the Uecker factor.
Dodgers are fortunate the Philly manager made the decision to hault a 9th inning no-out rally with a sacrificial out. Dumb, dumb, dumb decision that instantly became worse.

True, but change is needed which will make it more entertaining.

Wow - they are f'ing good!
A 6th grader with decent MLB knowledge could build a playoff team if he had $320M per year coming from a TV deal alone.
Get real....MLB is no longer a serious, competitive sport. But.....the salary cap is coming......
time will tell but there has been some (drat) good competitive baseball this post season!
Doesn't it take the enjoyment out of it just knowing one team has unlimited resources and over $1B deferred into the '40's and the other one is basically on a small market budget? I long ago tired of the David vs Goliath story....except for the original of course. I just can't see it as a real sport until they fix this issue.

Sorry...but Bryce Harper is overrated!
He always has been, IMO.
Very good player but I don’t think his productivity has measured up to all the hype and attention.
Agree. Just not consistent enough.
I’m not saying that he isn’t a very good player.
He clearly is and has been.
But....in my opinion he has not lived up to all the hype he has received from day one.
Hasn’t produced what he should in September and the playoffs.

I've enjoyed the playoffs immensely. The Dodgers are especially entertaining. I never tire of big va small. The Dodgers are a well ran organization from top to bottom.

Agree he’s getting paid like he’s the man at 330 million and doesn’t play like it even during the regular season he only scored 100 or more runs once and driven in more than 90 just once with the Phillies
