No Ellis, Skinner or Lucic in practice this morning per Korac/JR.

Looks like we got our roster.

Not sure I agree with these roster decisions(IMO Skinner outplayed Kessel and both Stenberg and Dvorsky outplayed Texier).

There may be retention factors involved with Kessel. I agree DD and Stenberg outplayed Texier but they aren't being groomed for his role (depth, bottom-6, healthy scratch, potential waiver).

Blues need to sneak Ellis through waivers one more time.

I have no strong opinion on Lucic. He is a reach, akin to a late-career version of Maroon. As a 13-14th forward not sure if he matters much one way or another. If the Blues need to tap depth for any significant stretch of games there are plenty of other options.

There's a perfectly good spot next to Schenn and Neighbours that one of those kids(Stenberg/Dvrosky) could be getting real game rep's in.
That's FAR more valuable than top line AHL minutes(IF they even get that; Alexandrov, Peca, Wagner and Luff are the veteran core in Springfield and they're going to get huge chunks of TOI).

IMO we should have dumped Texier and run Mojo and Sunny off the bench(neither one is an every night player IMO).

As for Skinner; this will be his 7th year in the AHL. Exactly what good is it going to do him to stay there at this point?

I agree with almost all of your takes usually, but Skinner being healthy scratch here behind Colt, Faulk, and LM would do him less good than playing in the Ahl regularly ... even for the 7th year. Every player under 25 needs to play not sit.
And Mojo had a very good camp. Monty obviously sees his speed and forecheck as being of value to the Neighbours/Schenn pairing. If he fails to contribute there, a prospect will definitely be considered ... especially with Sunny being injured this morning.
