He also makes a BIG deal using Donny for a starting pitcher.
Team finishes above .500
2027:
As long as the CBA gets settled, BDWJr gives Bloom a decent payroll of at least $170M to add pieces not currently in the system and the team competes not only for a WC but the NLC.
Attendance bounces back above 2.7M.
2028:
Player development system starts to funnel quality players to the Cardinals and the team is set for a decent playoff run for many years!
Attendance once again tips 3+M!

I am with you guys. I am an optimist. Bloom gets to do a reset. This will not happen overnight, but hopefully will start at the winter meetings. )Yeah, everyone sounds like they are excited to see Bloom start to implement his plans- and they are- until they realize Bloom's plans are not the same as their plans. I expect him to be much, much better at talent evaluation, much, much better about choosing a direction and sticking to it, much, much better about communicating with the fans- but fans may be disappointed with the pace, or his aversion to risk.
