And pitches thrown in the high 90s.
If it was 90 he wouldn't have gotten out of the way. Why was he bunting with runners at the corners and nobody out? I can't find a stat for squeeze bunts but Fry has zero sacrifice bunts for his career.

Skubal was a class act afterwards, too. Clearly upset that he might've hurt Fry. Skub said that some things are bigger than baseball, and he's right.

ESPN reported broken nose and facial fractures. Won’t need surgery. Out 6-8 weeks.

Pitchers are taught to throw high and tight when they see hitter square. This cause a foul or get hitter out of the box. Paul Dejong was face planted earlier in the year and required surgery and lost over two months. 99 can kill a human as Goliath went down by a pebble.

That was rough. Maybe that's why they went to the DH. Nobody knows how to bunt the runner up a base.

Thought it appeared the nose took brunt of the impact. Overall safety of eyes, brain, and vital components, nose was probably the best landing spot. But as far as pain, both immediate and lingering, man that had to f'n hurt.
