Which is exactly what USC was looking for. I like Drink’s creative aggressiveness. He didn’t throw the ball, which kept the clock going, but took a shot that definitely would have iced the game. If you saw the end of Eagles-Rams, a FG was no sure thing. Again, it took an outstanding play to spoil it. If not for an ankle tackle, everyone (except maybe you) would be talking about the genius call. (Plus, let’s not forget the most important thing, they would have covered)icon wrote: ↑21 Sep 2025 18:18 pmBut why run plays with bigger potential to lose yardage with a suspect kicker? And that's what an end around is. Runs with Roberts and/or Hardy were the calls there.Red7 wrote: ↑21 Sep 2025 18:12 pmColeman was a great play from a TD. The USC player made a great play. Can’t fault Moore for that. OTOH, it almost looked like Pribula’s carry was designed to center the ball for the FGA, which, given the kicker, I thought was odd.

All I can say is Moore ran that Coleman end around twice -- once for 3 yards and once for -2. He's shifty and speedy, but not a tackle breaker. Hardy and Roberts, meanwhile, were running through tackles all night long and were averaging 6 YPC.Red7 wrote: ↑23 Sep 2025 17:34 pmWhich is exactly what USC was looking for.
