What 3 hitters and 1 pitcher from the other teams rival that?
Don't look at the Yankees. Ruth, Mantle, Gehrig, Maris, A-rod, Judge. Gibson is better (IMO) than any Yankee pitcher but the case for Mariano Rivera could be made I guess. Whitey Ford? And Jeter/Ozzie would be a debate.

Molina over Smith for me but that's just because him and Pujols were the ones I got to see for their careers.
Obviously the others would be Musial and Gibson just based on their numbers
But yadi will always be my favorite Cardinal

He will be riding on Crazy Horse when his MVP filled career is over.

hornsby- one of the greatest hitters ever,
but did not play a good portion of his career here
Hornsby was drafted by and played 13 seasons as a Cardinal (.359 .427 .568 .995).
By far his longest stint w/one team during his 23 year career (5 yrs w/the Browns, 4 yrs w/the Cubs and one yr each w/New York and Boston).
100% on the Cardinals Mt. Rushmore.
Yep, now break down Albert's career.
I was also thinking it's silly to say yes to Albert and no to Hornsby based on years on the team.

I’d put either DiMaggio or Berra ahead of Ford. IMO, if Ford pitched for any other team than the mighty 1950’s Yankees, his numbers wouldn’t have been nearly as good.

Giants stack up nice as well

Agree but I was following the 3 position players and a pitcher formula from above.

Albert drafted and developed by the Cardinals and played 12 seasons as a Cardinal ( .326 .417 .614 1.031).
If not the greatest first 10 years to a career, then in the Top 2!
Among the greatest two or three RHH'ers of all-time.
ROY
3 MVP awards (10 Top five finishes and he had three more MVP awards stolen from him)
9 time all-star
6 Silver Sluggers
2 Gold Gloves
Two more years than he spent w/the Angels, partial year w/the Dodgers.

Bonds, Mays, Ott, and Mathewson certainly rivals it. Not sure it's better but it's certainly close enough to be discussed.
Red Sox have Williams, Yaz, and then the first part of Tris Spraker's career. On the pitching side they have Cy Young, Clemens, Pedro, and Lefty Grove.
Dodgers don't have the hitters to rival the Cardinals, Yankees don't have the standout pitcher unless you count Clemens' partial career there, or Rivera.
No other team comes to mind.
