Yes. Every time I shut my eye-lidge, I have happy memories.
Supposedly one of Brad's teammates on the plane back to St Louis said something like,. "Hey Lidge, I think we just passed Pujols homer!".
The Astros had the last laugh though.

sorry, when you said "all-time great", I thought I was listening to Buster Olney calling him "the greatest of ALL time" (obviously doesn't know anything about pitchers before 1980). No he's not all that! 222 wins would rank him about 20 on all time list. And you can't say he's the beat of this generation with Verlander and Scherzer around

I know he plays for LAD, but still…
Didn't Jim Kaat--without the tools of Kershaw or playing on championship teams--win 300! games over same length of time

Kaat went 283-237 over 25 years, and was primarily a reliever for his final 5 seasons.

He didn't say Kershaw was the greatest of all time. He said all time great. But saying he is the greatest of all time is closer to the mark then an absurd comparison to Jim Kaat.
