It's not like any of them are home run hitters or great defensively either, and they run these guys out there day after day. What kind of results are they expecting? It's surely not to win on a consistent basis.
We gotta see what we got……because we’re blind

The FO just had to witness for a full season that their bags of poo actually were stinking as bad as everyone thought they were

And he wags his tongue like the dog he is. The Michael Jordan of baseball he is not. More like Jordan actually played in baseball.Strummer Jones wrote: ↑17 Sep 2025 16:03 pmMore than done with Noot.KeeptheRamsinSTL wrote: ↑17 Sep 2025 15:33 pmI agree. Another team might be able to fix Walker but I doubt it.
Gorman is who he is. He will continue to strike out a lot and hit some home runs. Maybe he will hit 30 home runs on another team but he also might strike out 200+ times. His back isn't going to get better as he gets older.
I have had enough of Noot too.
A cute name will only get you so far in baseball. Time to actually produce.

Absolutely bonkers how bad these guys are. I don’t even know what to say?

No question, the OF and the starting pitching are areas that need a lot of improvement. I think the Cards will try to include Gorman in a trade. Walker has to earn a spot in the Spring or he goes to Memphis . I wouldn't give up on him just yet since he is just 23 and really doesn't have much trade value. Victor Scott simply just doesn't hit enough to be a regular. I'm ok moving Nootbar. He is frequently injured and may have peaked.

Nor I. Probably because no other team in the history of baseball would have rushed an incomplete 20-year-old to MLB and told him to change his swing while learning the outfield and then gave him 2 years of rope to hang himself with.
I feel bad for Walker because quite simply, he shouldn't even be out there. They could very well be ending his career right now by how much psychological damage they're doing in feeding him to the wolves.
Of course, he's not helping himself by doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over...
Gorman on the other hand ... he's just hopeless. If it's his back, he'a a lost cause, if it's his head and inability to stop chasing pitches, he's reached the point where it's do or die, and he's slowly dieing a slow painful death.
