Agreed, Vandy is playing really well and SC is sputtering along.

Re: South Carolina
I certainly am not.
But I do question their ranking based on what I'm seeing.
Like many have said, we'll know more soon.

Re: South Carolina
Only an idiot would believe that.
The QB all by himself is going to make things difficult..and they've got some dudes he can throw to.
I believe MU will prevail but it's a conference game and both teams have playoff aspirations.
It's going to be a dogfight.
Re: South Carolina
I don't understand dismissing SC against Vandy out of hand.
The Cocks have better talent and they'll have the most gifted player on both sides of the ball in Sellers and Stewart. They're deeper and have the better staff imo. Importantly, they're at home.
People say, look how the Dores handled VaTech on the road and I agree that was impressive. But the Hokies appeared to run out of fight in the second half, just a week after they were run down by, wait for it, SC.
Vandy will try to stretch the game out so SC will have to stay patient but I like the Cocks in this one.

I'm not dismissing them out of hand I'm dismissing them because I've watched them and they aren't that good. Certainly don't deserve a #10/11 ranking.

I'll just disagree with you on all counts. Sellers is very good but Pavia gets it done, he's like a little more talented version of Brady Cook. The Vandy D is better than SC's.

Do you watch games? The SC-VaTech match was determined by the VaTech QB making one stupid decision/play after the other.

You're from Georgia, of course you like Cocks

Re: South Carolina
SC is overrated, and so is Sellers.
Re: South Carolina
On SEC podcast Mike has aSEC QB show and he has moved Sellers way down his list and Pavia way up. they don't think much of SC anymore with his poor play especially his accuracy throwing.
Now He has Beau at number 3 and said he could easily be the most effective QB in conference. right now OU's is number one but doesn't regard him very high as a passer. they really like MU and Drink now.
Sellers is not playing like he did in last half of year where he came on bigly. hesitates on both running and passing. he could always suddenly be all that again but IMO Vandy is the better team right now.
this weekend is Yuge where we will find out about a bunch of teams that MU will play this year.

Re: South Carolina
SC looks like they’ll come to town a wounded animal. Not sure what Sellers’ status will be. They look rough on offense right now.

SC taking all the shine off the matchup

Re: South Carolina
Nope. Not deserving. Especially if Sellers ain't playing.
Re: South Carolina
We saw that SC without Sellers is a canoe without a paddle.
Re: South Carolina
as I pointed out and many talking heads as well Sellers is NOT the same as second half last year for whatever reason. Not accurate, hesitates too much running, They probably will fall out of top 25 as they are just not that good. have one good pass rusher that vandy neutralized for most part by having Pavia roll away from his and pass or run. or they doubled him. running game is inconsistant and Defense overall is ordinary.
It's Vandy and their coaching staff who have blown past SC this season. They were very well prepared and OC called an excellent game plus Pavia of course and now he has a much better running attack OL to lean on, with better receivers. That will be a war and they will be at home.
