He's made some really nice plays the past two nights, getting comfortable being back on the left side of the diamond.
I was watching him closely the last two nights (I was at the stadium), he's moving his feet a lot better and has found his proper release point (a LOT different at 3rd base than you use at 2nd base) which is improving his throw!
He'll never be anywhere near GG caliber but he could surprise some and be no worse than league average ( 0 DRS/0 OAA).
He has always had very good hands, and his arm strength is superior to N/A's.
He is fine going to the right but does not have N/A's range to the left - or on charging slow hit balls in front of him.
You are correct.
Not a GG - but plenty good enough to be one of the better 3B's in MLB.
I disagree. On the plenty good enough to be one of the best third base man in the league. He may turn out serviceable, but not one of leagues best.

We shall see.
By the way, I stated the reverse of what I intended above.
Gorman is fine moving to his left but does not have N/A's range to the right.

Weak back hand you say. A couple errors credited hits on plays Gorman attempted, I noted balls to his left was trouble. He must have improved.

Where do you get that Gorman’s arm strength is superior to N/A? Statcast disagrees with you. Even at N/A’s age his arm is stronger both in average MPH and highest throw speed. N/ A is ranked 20th among 3bmen, Gorman is 23rd.

Facts?! Why introduce facts into the pontificating??
To your vaunted facts, (fake, no doubt), I say, horse(radish)!

The arm is strong and becoming more accurate as he's found the proper release point that differs greatly from the one you use at 2nd base.
The left issue is addressed by M. Winn's great range in the hole plus an arm that is so strong he can make plays from that depth so the damage would be minimized.
IF NADO is dealt this offseason, then I have no issue w/Norman taking over 3rd base as long as he's hitting for power.
