What, is he going to catch like one game and get sent back down?
Since bottoming out at the end of July, in his 16 games in August he carried 1.055, over 59 PA.
I'm not suggesting he turned a corner, or that Crooks shouldn't play. However, I can see the reasoning in him starting tonight.

They'd be foolish not to play Pages right now. I admit to him being the most depressing guy in the lineup in July but might as well ride the hot hand, something Oli seems incapable of understanding until now. Oh wait, he just loves Pages regardless. Oh well...
My guess is Crooks starts tomorrow.

F this. The ump completely hosed Walker calling a strike on a pitch that was 3 inches outside.
F MLB and these primadonna umps until these worthless sacks of sh*t are held accountable. Of course he's gonna chase when you call that a strike.
