What is it that you want the blues to do this season that they aren’t doing? If you were the gm what would you do differently? Don't look at it as a "troll angle". Look at it as "common sense".
That will 100% explain why no one can beat me, and I never tire.

I want them to do what every other team in the league has done to get their TOP5 pick. Many of them have done it twice. The Average Gatsby wrote: ↑29 Aug 2025 13:57 pmWhat is it that you want the blues to do this season that they aren’t doing? It doesn't include telling your players to hit everything moving on the ice.
It can be accomplished without "tanking". Play the prospects. Play the backup goalie.

But you do want them to lose enough games to finish in the bottom 5 teams in the league, right? So far I see you’re telling the coaches that the team isn’t supposed to check and you want to sit binnington. What if the team is still in a playoff spot in December? Time to trade Thomas?

He wants to not play Team Canada's Goalie. He wants to not play Team Canadas Defender who is in his prime coming off of a top 10 defensive year. He wants to not play Robert Thomas who is one of the young emerging star centers in the league. He wants to not play....... There is no satisfying the troll. Players play at All Star levels and when they do, they want to trade them. First they call them bums, then they say they are too good and we need to trade them. There is no winning. The Average Gatsby wrote: ↑29 Aug 2025 14:35 pmBut you do want them to lose enough games to finish in the bottom 5 teams in the league, right? But, facts are facts. Army won a cup. Army is top 10 all time in wins. Army has the 2nd most wins out of any current GM. Army is number 2 in the top 10 in win percentage. The Blues are a historic franchise and are currently in their best iteration in a 10 year period including 2 conference finals, multiple playoff appearances, and hoisting Lord Stanleys Cup. In the 50 years of the Blues existence, there has never been a more successful period of hockey than the Army tenure.
Thomas, Kyrou, Holloway, Broberg, Neighbours, Hofer, all young players who have proven they can hack it in the league at least for 1 season. The amount of fans that wish they had a Neighbours or Holloway are many. In fact, Neighbours is so popular in STL, his hat line sold out last year. They had to do a reorder. They are looking to make that a staple line now because of how popular Neighbours is. SALES EVERYWHERE.

The extent of its plan is, "do everything the opposite of how Armstrong does it." It can't be expected to come up with anything more specific than that. All brain cells are already tied up with the stated goal. The Average Gatsby wrote: ↑29 Aug 2025 13:57 pmWhat is it that you want the blues to do this season that they aren’t doing? No you won’t for sure. Plus if you commit to that you’ll never be good cause you’re constantly blowing it up jettisoning guys once they age outsdaltons wrote: ↑31 Aug 2025 09:52 amThe extent of its plan is, "do everything the opposite of how Armstrong does it." No one can beat you, yet the do all the time.
"Further, Edmonton has so much young talent on their roster, the Blues could steal 2 off their bench"
"

These are two of your qoutes from the first page this thread, but....
The Edmonton pipeline ranking, the one you started a thread about how pathetic it is that the Blues are only at 16, is 31. Guess who is the oldest team in the NHL with an average age of 30.11? Edmonton!!!! So much young talent, he said.

a smell of green grass wrote: ↑28 Aug 2025 21:00 pmNow you know how I feel. I'm tired of seeing list after list after list of the "NHL stars", and there is not 1 Blues player ever. I really hoped that 2023 would bring something at least close to special, and it's becoming clear that the 2023 draft yielded nothing of significance.fish wrote: ↑28 Aug 2025 11:25 am I have resisted commenting on your anti Army , goalpost moving posts for the past couple of months because I didn’t want to feed the trolls, but really , enough is enough. Everyone here knows your point of view. Do you wake up every morning full of excitement because this will finally be the day you make that perfect post about exactly the same subject.
If you can stop me from seeing the NHL posts about the star players, I will stop my posts bothering you.
Till then. Buckle up.
After decades of playing and watching ice hockey- including eight years of watching travel hockey with the best players in California, I will make an observation about your fixation.
It is the most casual fans, the dilettantes, who need to see “stars”. Most “true” and serious fans go to watch well matched “teams” battle it out on the ice. There are four forward lines and three defensive pairs for a reason, huh?
Are you a fan of the Blues, or a fan of the Stars?
You never post like a fan.
You post like a standard troll.
I wish you were able to make a case that you are anything other than a compulsive troll, but I wish for a lot of impossible things.

I am surprised that he wins day after day.

Re: Exciting Hockey on TV this year!!!
There is a pervasive thought that somehow if you catch him in a big enough lie, or trap him with his claims, he'll admit he's wrong and will either step in line and become a good poster or go away. I thought I finally had Trollin' when he finally stated "100% Snuggerud will never be a Blue and Holloway and Broberg (he used Hollowell and I forget what he called Broberg) would never be worth what the Blues paid". Then he disappeared and 3 new trolls show up. They don't care. They want you angry, I refuse to play the game anymore (at least I try to).Francis Park Thug wrote: ↑31 Aug 2025 14:02 pmNo, he wins everytime you respond to his posts. Let’s try something different. I am going come at this from the angle of someone who has been extremely critical of a GM/POBO since 11/17/2014 on another of these boards. I have always attempted to be fair in my complaints, but never missed voicing my complaint when warranted. That GM signed two free agent contracts that turned disastrous. One of them I agreed with at the time and while it was an epic fail, I have never left a negative post on it as I was wrong in thinking it was a good signing. The other I felt was the correct player, just signed a year too late and for too many years.a smell of green grass wrote: ↑29 Aug 2025 07:48 amThe only person that could "stop seeing the lists" are those that have crawled so far up Army that they can't see anything but Army's goodness.
In those years I have never held back on pointing out the things I witnessed I did not agree with. What I have never done is started topics multiple times a day or replying to people multiple times a day with the same complaint.
What is your goal in repackaging the same complaint multiple times a day? We have all heard your displeasure in the Blues not doing more of a tank in 2023. We fully know that this frustrated you. That decision is done. It can’t be changed. I have asked you on multiple occasions how you propose getting a top five pick and after ignoring the question multiple times you finally said there is no path and that they should have handled 2023 differently, why you you still dwell on this?
You slam the offer sheets as stealing. It is part of the CBA and no different than Vegas taking Petro from us other than being required to send back compensation.
I get wanting to voice your frustration with a GM you don’t agree with. Like I said I have been doing it for nearly 11 years now. There is a way to do it with invites open conversation on here into why you feel the way you do and then there is your approach which results in people not taking the complaints as anything other than attempts to attention grab.
Why do you feel repackaging the same complaints multiple times a day is constructive conversation?
Re: Exciting Hockey on TV this year!!!
He doesn't have a goal, he's playing a game. He's not displeased with the 2023 draft, he doesn't care about a top-5 pick, and he doesn't have a beef with the GM. I doubt he has done anything truly constructive in his life.Stlcardsblues wrote: ↑31 Aug 2025 17:45 pmLet’s try something different.
