"III will be kept from interviews"...
If, in a year or two he's effectively running the team and Jr (due to age and illness) stays in CA 100% of the time, just who is going to tell 3 NOT to do interviews?

No one on CT has any idea of what will happen. Why ask?

Cranny supposedly has some sort of contact with the F.O... for as full of feces as he is with his baseball analysis, my ears perk up when he talks about F.O. dynamics. He's pretty much the only one on here I think might have some type of inside info about what might happen.

Maybe but honestly unless you are living in BDW’s head you have no idea. I’m sure he has a successor planned of some kind.

We all should pray that they don't sell. Any new owner who pays over 2 billion dollars for the franchise is not going to have the money to go after any FAs and will depend on draft and development to rebuild the team. I think the team can contend in 2 more years, a new owner might need 5 to 7 years/

I don’t think it’s out of the question. I would have said a hard no to that question before this year.
Joe Buck’s comments this about the organization’s need to rebuild trust with the fanbase is spot on. Attendance this year is validation of that. If the Dewitts think rebuilding that trust comes with a high price tag, they may cash out.
IMO, that might be best for all . Dewitt III is nowhere near his father in terms of public relations. Every time he opens his mouth, he puts his foot in it. I doubt his dad has the energy or desire to be the face of an organization trying to rebuild its reputation. We’ll see.
Mo has fallen into great disfavor with the fans, and is a PR liability right now. Bloom will become the face of the Cardinals, not the DeWitts.
Wrong.
The Dewitts hold the purse strings and the fanbase watched them slash payroll by $40M and wanted to do more. Gray, Arenado and Contreras invoking NTC prevented them.
Goold informed us at the end of last season that ownership slashed minor league coaching budget after Covid and never reinstated those jobs. Goold said the Brewers had 17 roving minor league instructors last vs 5 for the Cardinals. Any wonder why the Brewers young players are excelling? The Dewitts championed the “Cardinal Way.” You remember, we draft and develop players using George Kittel’s master plan? They pull the plug on funding that Cardinal Way.
Massive breach of trust with fans that Bloom can’t fix alone. Angst with season ticket holders goes way beyond the incompetent Mozeliak.

Be careful what you wish for. If you look at the mid market owners that MLB has had since 1996, I'm not sure who has done better than BDW

Literally none of this makes any sense whatsoever. You should be embarrassed

No. BDW, Jr. is withdrawing into the background and (with the exception of helping set the budget) will leave all baseball decisions up to Bloom. BDW III will stay on the other side of the house.
If so that’s good news because III has a way of angering his customers, although he doesn’t seem to understand that.
BDW III is a PR disaster and will be kept away from interviews. The natural new face of the franchise is Bloom, and possibly also Cerfolio if he’s named GM.
I agree cranny
Fredo doesn't seem to have much interest in the "on-field" side and needs to be kept far away from the media.
But I still expect Bill, Jr to stay heavily involved as he loves the Cardinals and baseball is in his blood.
(And I'd expect Cefolio to have that GM title real soon, if not sometime next season)

A sale is probable in my opinion, dependent on BDW declining health
Fredo is not capable of being an owner

Yes. Fully expect a sale. And sooner rather than later!!!
Nearing a Clean slate for a potential buyer.

"Full of feces with his baseball analysis"? Why, because I don't jump on the negativity express, 3dender?

IDK why you have terrible baseball analysis, i'd have to psychoanalyze you probably to fully understand it. That would require me caring more about it though, a lot easier to just ignore it.
