What a wonderful, innovative idea.
You might be onto something here, but why wait until after the season. It's the Cardinals vs Pirates playing meaningless games. I say any game that is tied after 9 innings, bring the octagon out and have each team's "tribute" (27th man) face off to break the tie. That might get some more fans in the stadium and get them to stick around the whole game.
