Great gloves and speed, VSII can't hit and not sure Church will once league see's him.

I'm interested to see if they give JJW some spring games in CF.
Vomit. Not every Cardinal suspect/prospect needs to play multiple positions
Not multiple if he handled it, then permanent.

He's said himself he would have no issue playing in the OF.

Not my idea, just the messenger as that's the buzz around town.
No way I’m giving JJ a new position now.

Put him at 2b.
An off-season trade or two can drastically change this.

With the current roster is it better to have Donnie in LF and JJ at 2B or vice versa
for a season or two? It might just be a wash. JJ gets a run. I'd like him at 2B or 3B but I like him best getting
a shot on the roster over being in AAA. We shouldn't be sad if he bumps a .700 or less OPS player.

I’d rather have BD in LF or traded

Totally fair.
I don't see BD as a good OFer despite a GG. I think both his glove and bat
are best a 2B. No evidence of JJ being good there either, just think his bat might be
an upgrade over any of the current OFers.

Having a couple true OFers gloves on the team, even if neither are starters in Church
and Scott hurt nothing IMO. Room for 5 on a roster. IF one can bring more bat ......fantastic.

No, no they don't. That's why very few minor leaguers make the show.

Before this year donny rated as an average to plus defender in the outfield.

Donny was actually an outfielder in college along with a 3b. He didnt play 2b. 2b is what we converted him too. Donnys been slow a little at lutfield this year but if healthy i think he cpvers the position fine.

I do t think donnys body type long term holds up at 2b. Hes kinda big for a middle infielder.
