Siani was worth 0.7 WAR last year. Donovan would have played a lot more OF too. So Walker, Herrera, Gorman and Saggese also would have gotten more ABs at OF/DH/IF.
It probably would be about the same or maybe even better if Gorman/Saggese/Walker get traction sooner with more ABs.

At only 26. I'm not too sure that Burleson is not a "building block" for the Cardinals' reset. And he's cheap enough, for a while, that they can use the extra money saved to find another "building block" type as a FA.
