Bump so the GDT doesn't fall off the front page. Noothaar now leading off, Saggese at 2B and hitting seventh. Yankees -145 favorites, which seems a little steep since they are on the road, have fallen off, and their pitcher is making just his third start.

Mark Sweeney explaining Walker's hitting.
makes me think Sweeney could be a good hitting coach.

Not smart.

This is why we need starters. You cannot constantly walk runners. Pallante has no strike out pitch. He just throws the ball up hoping for a prayer and a lot of luck. He's not an MLB pitcher.

Maybe just my pet peeve but would like to watch a Cardinal game where Chip, Brad ,or Mark each time Walker one’s up to bat thr announcers do NOT critique his swing . Just announce his at bat like they do most other players. Gets tiresome listening to this, that, and the other thing Walker is working on.
It seems like it is constant.
Just thought I would vent on that.
I will be listening/watching his first at bat to see if they go into analysis mode especially Brad. Will report back later.

Starters just put the team behind early, almost every game. I'm surprised their record is as good as it is..

...The walk scores, naturally. Pallante having trouble finding the zone, and has to groove one to get the strike... He's at 19 pitches, 1 out, one on, and 1 run scored...
