The Cardinals will not be re-signing Matz. And they won't spend on Helsley. Maton could be an option if his price isn't huge.

With injuries and being pushed to the BP for others
this season, Miles, I'm not sure Matz has interest in returning.

Agree with Hels although prior to 2024 he was more of a co-closer with
Gallegos and Hicks. Next guy up in BP's work as long as the cupboard is
replenished. They were lucky with Maton. He wasn't desired and fell to
them.

Would they then be Latter Day Saint Louis Cardinals?
