Molina is not Bloom’s idea of a manager. He may not keep Marmol, but he’ll hire 2.0. Yadi will want more control than anyone since TLR and that’s not Bloom would be looking for. The ONLY way Molina is the manager in 2026 is if DeWitt demands it and there’s no way Bloom could be POBO after that.
You say this based on what?
Based on nothing, Red likes to think he knows things others don't.
Try not to hold it against him. His job on CT is the be the 'I hate everything, Grumble Grumble Grumble.' guy
I thought that was Scoutys job

I apologize for saying the post of the Cardinals as a AAA was the worst take I had ever seen. You've just one-upped it, if for no other reason than this premise makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Bloom won’t be fired. He’ll resign. If he’s told who to hire as manager, especially right off the bat, he will essentially have his legs as POBO cut off from under him. If Marmol is not kept, look for Oli 2.0.

Not sure about how Bloom feels about Ollie, but my hunch is that Jason Varitek or Don Mattingly would be strong candidates to replace Marmol.

I’m neutral on the idea of Molina as Manager.
Not sure I understand the conjecture with Bloom???
Molina is here to observe and learn from Oli.

Doubling down on a bad take.
Carry on.

I’m neither here nor there with Yadi managing the Cards but watching him at the top of the steps watching what was going on on the field he looked like he was more into the game than Oli was. You could see it in his eyes as he was watching everything going on where as Oli is just layed back sitting on the bench with DD for most of the games. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Oli watch a game from the top of the steps like most managers do cause he’s to cool for that I guess.

First, Bloom needs to hire "his" guy
Second, pretty sure that was agreed upon w/BDWJr before he accepted the job
Third, if he does choose Yadi (or Albert) it will be because he wants them and no Dewitt
Fourth, I don't think there would be any clash of egos.........the egomaniac POBO is retiring and Bloom seems to be the antithesis of Mo

If anything Mo being gone increases the chances of a Yadi hiring. According to Bernie and other media types Yadi is not a Mo fan in the least.

This. Also, it was so cool seeing Yadi in the dugout last night. Looked so much like he belongs.

Molina won’t be managing next year, at least not in St.Louis.
