Bernie said he talked to Oli and Oli told him that Yadi hit him up because he was going to be in town and one thing led to another and he ended up seeing if he wanted to come to some games and this is what they ended up with. Pretty cool.
Of course the cynical person might conclude that this is something they're doing to try and boost some ticket sales, but I don't know. Pretty last minute, so I doubt it would have much effect. Also, Bernie says that Yadi hates Mo, so doubt he would go along with such a thing if that was true.

Would love to see Yadi pop out of the dugout when one of our pitchers need a little coaching.

I've read through this string of posts, and yours is the only explanation that makes any sense to me, Ronnie. I doubt there is any conspiracy afoot, or master plan playing out. Just the best Cards catcher of my generation coming to town and hanging out with the team in the dugout for the weekend. Why should I have any objection, suspicion or outrage around that? Thanks for bringing some reason to the discussion.
