He's an arm. He didn't cost anything. If he blossoms StL can keep him via arb, and if not it's no loss.

My guess is this pickup has nothing to do with Mo.

That’s exactly why you look at a pitcher’s entire career. Last season he was in 54 games for the Twins and had a 3.24 ERA with a WHIP of 1.029.
