He’d be sitting today vs a LHP. He’d be batting 6th or 7th. He should be batting 5th or 6th at best in our lineup, too.

Gotta just let Walker and Gorman play their way on or off the 2026 roster. Time is short.
Burly last 5 games: 2-18 with 0 XBH. Where should he bat? Why third, naturally.
Gorman last 5 games: 7-19 with 2 HRs. Where should he bat? Sixth, of course.

I've stopped trying to make sense of the lineup decisions.

Gavin Williams loses his no-hitter and shutout of the Mets with 2 outs to go in the 9th inning. Juan Soto hit a solo HR.

Ended up going 8 2/3 IP with 126 pitches.

#STLCards third baseman Nolan Arenado will report to Jupiter, Fla., on Friday to begin a rehab assignment, manager Oliver Marmol said. The club’s thinking is that after his shoulder strengthens, he could soon appear in games there.

I watched that ninth inning.
Hope his arm doesn't fall off.

Never took his bat off his shoulder with that strikeout. Oh well. Oli says he's going to play.

Welp, if you can’t swing the bat, you can always go into the field and look worse.

Burleson not hitting and making errors. Not a good look for the golden child.
