Hiya, Oz!

That’s been true in the past, but as 12xu correctly noted, the Brew Crew pitching staff is 2nd in the NL in ERA and 4th in strikeouts.

And we all know what a hot pitching staff can do in the playoffs to neutralize good hitters.

The Brewers remind me somewhat of the 2005 White Sox. The Pale Hose pitching staff shut everyone down and rode it to their WS win over the much-favored Astros.

We shall see. It’s like that noted baseball expert Herm Edwards when he said, “IT’S WHY YOU PLAY THE GAME!!!”

I’ll bet you never knew ol’ Herm was a baseball savant, eh? ::crazya::
And here I thought he was a pickleball guy!

That’s fair I said the same thing about the cubs in 2016 oh they haven’t won in 100 years they will choke lol so never can say never. The reason I’m doubtful on them is they lost chorio and their offense wasn’t great to begin with and they will run into teams that has good offenses and pitching. But all they need is the pitching to hold up and someone unexpected to step up like freese did in 2011 and they could go deep

You think their willingness to run helps? They are like top five in steals and top six in runs, something like that.
Absolutely. We have some speed on the Cardinals as well, but they all seem to be restrained for some reason
