I’ve actually have been thinking about this
Stanley Enos Kroenke could redeem himself in his home state…….Rams were never really a Stl team, it was as transplant from LA. Anyone can admit the Dome was a sterile chit hole to watch a game…..so he returns and saves the beloved STL. Cardinals Baseball Team and perhaps the City of STL
Most likely fantasy, but he controls the largest Sports Team conglomerate….so
The Dome had years of sell out crowds. Kroenke was a bold face liar to St. Louis Ram fans and business leaders. He would not be welcome back.
The Rams would still be here if Khan's offer had been accepted but Kroenke as miniority owner had a 'right of first refusal ' to buy the remaining portion of the team. He did and we know what happened. He flew the coup to LA.

Dan, rumors are that he’d move to Nashville.

The St. Louis Cardinals will NEVER, EVER be moved.
On this I can even give it a 100% chance of NEVER HAPPENING.
Never say never. Always avoid always. Remember that.
NEVER, EVER ever will the Cardinals leave St. Louis nor would MLB allow one of it's crown jewel franchise to leave what has been dubbed "The best baseball city in America" (although Mo has done his best to e f f that up lately).
With dumb[ash] Rob Manfred as commissioner, anything is possible. History and tradition mean nothing to that weasel. Its all about $$$.

The 2 perfect fits would be Enterprise (or the Taylor family) and David Steward.

Nashville is so overrated. I've been there, I could not believe what the hype is all about. Yawn.

Nashville is fine. I fail to see how moving the Cardinals out of St. Louis to Nashville would be a wise move.

St Louis would be low on the totem pole of cities to move teams out of. Tampa and Miami come to mind. Nobody cares about baseball in those two cities.

Growing, dynamic city with Vanderbilt, the state Capital, the country music industry, etc.

Dropping attendance in a city with population decline. If wealthy buyers wanted to purchase the team contingent on a move to a new market? You bet Manfred and the greedy owners would be interested.

St. Louis metro area last year saw its largest increase in population in 15 years.
St. Louis metro has 600,000 more people than Nashville.

One of the benefits, maybe the only one, of being an Out of Town fan.
I could give a rats patootie if the team was sold and relocated. I simply hope the next owner has longer hands and shorter pockets than the current Skinflints.
If a relocation gives them a better shot of competing with The Big Boys I am All In.
I get to travel to another City that in all likelihood I would have never have gone to.
But I get it, for you homies, it is your Natl Identity. That and The Arch.
Don't need a Drastic Relocation. Simply a move to the equivalent of The Burbs. Centrally located to maximize reach and where no one is concerned about having their car jacked or being held up. Other than by Burgher Bill for tix and acc's.

As of today…
but where is the growth
Nashville is growing at twice the national average
Businesses and industry are moving to Nashville
It’s becoming a media center
It’s about the future

Good lord people. Donavon is leading off. Pallante is #2 or 3. Burleson is batting 3rd. Gorman is still on the roster. You can’t make up how bad this team is. They could easily sell and move. It’s no longer a major league club anyway.
