I would think the fact that he is a defensive disaster is part of it.

and he's gonna get better with inconsistent playing time? what happened to the runway?

edit: unless they dont wanna do a day game after a night game due to his back.. maybe

If you witnessed what I have in SD, you'd get it.

More stupid Oli lineups.

Unless Norman's back is acting up he needs to be at 3rd base every game and not Saggesse (.237 .279 .340 .619) who's JAG.

and Walker

IMO never good to start 2 OFer who can't field vs
a high contact team and a low SO/9 pitcher.

Saggese may at least bring improved defense over
who he's replacing

Ha, are you getting the GDT later Mort? If so, thank you in advance.
Maybe. They were great about publishing lineups early but have gotten slower as the season wears on.
Thanks, I'll try to keep an eye out late if not.
Thanks, I will too for another hour or so then I'm out. With another RHP I can't see the Cards' lineup changing much. Maybe Pozo for Pages and a Saggese start.

Consistency hasn’t been his strength. Maybe he starts consistency today.

The season is over. These are like spring training games.
