He is probably already a better hitter than half the guys on the current major-league roster… We have a few guys in Memphis that would improve this team

If he maintains something close to his current stats.12 HR, 62 RBIs,.308 BA .377 OBP, .872 OPS. Would it take an injury or two to current 1B, 3B players for Jordan to get his opportunity this season? It appears the Cardinals have another fine 22 year-old prospect, like Wetherholt, coming along.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he made the team coming out of ST next season.
He should play everyday in AAA without question
What he needs is to clearly outhit Gorman. And maybe Arenado if he's still around. Then there's Wetherholt in the mix. I'm anxious to see how Jordan compares to Saggese.
Seems like he has more power than Saggese. Corner IF power.

More raw power than Saggese. Jordan has never had a SLG% above .500 in the minors though. Saggese has had 2 seasons with a .500+ SLG%. But Saggese struggled a bit once he got to AAA, while Jordan has not.

I’m a Blaze Jordan fan. Please don’t Alec Burleson him.
We can only hope Jordan can be the type of MLB hitter Burleson has turned out to be. Think about how true this is before you post a stupid response.
We’re hoping he’s a player who is on pace for less than 70 RBI and like 55 runs?

Mo should have made room at the trade deadline for Church to get a chance in the outfield this season.

That would be nice. At least, Contreras-type power maybe.

Do you think he can do more dick pushups than Roby or Burly?

Burleson not a guy who is a run producer. Just a guy or JAG. Jordan can and possibly will exceed the Burly production.
if jordan turned out to be a 280 hitter with 20 homers and 80 RBI's I think the cards would be thrilled

It seems Jordan may have the potential to put up Burleson-type numbers. And, like Burleson, Jordan doesn't seem to strike out excessively.

This is not good for Mr. Jordan.
When Shady falls in love with a player, he makes a Voodoo inflatable doll in their likenesses, and their talent mysteriously disappears.

I pray to God, that we DID NOT just trade for another 1 1/2 WAR player? That would be disappointing.
I want Blaze Jordan to produce 2-3 WAR at least. Anything near 1 1/2 WAR is nothing to get excited about, nor talk about.

He can "possibly" exceed Burly's production? Not going out on a limb too much there are ya?
But yeah. It would be nice if not only Jordan, but they need both Walker and Ivan to also exceed Burly. If they can both do so, we may be on to something.
