Never refuse to listen on anyone. That’s just bad management. What if someone offered a AAA power arm for Burley and Noot?
I’m not sure why people keep mentioning Nolan Arenado being traded. It’s not going to happen. He is not waiving his no trade he is staying in STL. Not sure why people keep thinking that’s even a possibility

Kwan can actually stay on the field and is a gold glover. And there's the problem. Nootbaar is not a core piece. Even at his height, he was always going to be a supporting piece. Like a Reggie Sanders. Reggie was always a nice player to have. I think Burly and Donnie are also "nice" players. But you absolutely do not build around them. They're the guys who you bring in to protect THE guys.

Nailed on all points. I'll add that when in a rebuild that those supporting pieces can be dealt because there is no core in place to support.
