They would be a good trade partner for Mo. Number two prospect, Trey Yesavge, has impressed me.
If he impresses you, learn to spell his name correctly.
If you had a clue you'd offer something to baseball discussion on this instead of nitpicking.
he's not nitpicking...we're accustomed to your ways...you just looked up his stats about...hmmm, I'd say an hour ago. And your remembered he wore Purple in College like Burleson.

The Blue Jays seem to have interest in Maton. It would be nice if Mo can obtain at least one of the seven pitchers on Toronto's top ten prospects list. Hopefully, Yesavage.
Yes, I’m sure the Blue Jays would be excited by the idea of trading the #2 prospect in their system for the expiring contract of Phil Maton.
Please stop.

Burleson and Saggese and Maton for Yesavage.
It'll take Donovan

I've seen Yesavage pitch in person and he is impressive. However, not sure the Cardinals are moving the kind of players that would yield him as a return.

Yesavage could really give the Cardinals' '26 starting rotation a lift. Maybe even this season with the current situation. It will take a nice offer to have a chance at getting him. Could Maton and Gorman get it done?

Are you crazy, the kid has a total of 21 AA innings. Now he maybe the next Nolan Ryan but at moment he needs to prove he can do it at AA and AAA before he joins any teams MLB rotation.

A nice offer, you say? You just proposed trading Phil Maton’s expiring contract for him. That kind of nice?
Per BTV:
Yesavage: 17.0
Burleson:15.8
Maton: 2.0
Get ‘er done, right Shady???

So Nootbaar wouldn't work in addition to Maton? Is that what you are saying?
